I met Larson on a Thursday night in April 2024 at the famous Deep Eddy Cabaret in Austin, TX, our favorite dive bar. I was there to shoot pool, as per usual - and Larson had been convinced to go for one drink after attending an engagement party nearby. Larson immediately caught my attention as she walked past the pool table to the lady’s restroom at the back of the bar, (I learned later, planning to call an uber home). When Larson walked out, I was waiting there to introduce myself - a bold gesture! Larson ditched whomever she was with, and the uber home, and proceeded to play pool with me for the rest of the night. She’s been stuck with me ever since!
