FLIGHT INFORMATION
STEP 1: FLY TO SXM OR SJU
There are no direct flights to St. Barth (SBH). When booking your first flight, please search flights into either St. Maarten (SXM) or San Juan (SJU) as your initial destination. Most major cities offer direct service into one of these airports.
We recommend flying directly into St. Maarten (SXM) whenever possible, as connections to St. Barth are typically shorter, more frequent, and often more cost-effective.
Please note that flights arriving into SXM or SBH after 4:00 PM may not allow enough time to make a same-day connection to St. Barth. When booking your initial flight, please ensure your arrival time allows sufficient connection time for the second leg of your journey to St. Barth. We recommend allowing extra connection time whenever possible to ensure a smooth travel experience.
CONNECTION
STEP 2: BOOK YOUR SBH CONNECTOR
SXM: you have a few options – hopper plane, ferry, helicopter
HOPPER PLANE:
10 minute flight to the island. It is a SMALL plane but it reminds Larson of flying in her dad's Bonanza! It's part of the experience and you can't beat the views.
*Check out the airlines WinAir OR St. Barths Commuter to book your transfer flight. Please book this as soon as the routes are opened for our dates, there are only ~7 seats per flight and will book quickly. Note required connection times on the airlines sites.
FERRY:
For those who prefer to avoid a small plane or helicopter or arrive at night past hopper flight times, this is a cost-efficient option to connect you to SBH via Great Bay Express or St Barts Blue.
Please note it is a 45-minute ride but can vary depending on weather conditions. These are both express ferry options, if you use another company ensure to check for an express option to avoid stopping at other islands along the way.
HELICOPTER
You can reserve this for a small group.
SJU: Your connection will be booked directly via Tradewinds.
This will be roughly a 1-hour flight on a Pilatus. It will feel like JSX and the Tradewinds staff will guide you through the experience and how you find them at SJU. Seats are limited please book asap and follow instructions regarding connection time provided by Tradewinds.
CAB + DRIVER NUMBERS
Some villas will provide driver services or airport shuttles. Most hotels provide an airport pickup service and will call you cabs throughout the weekend.
*Note we will not have organized transportation throughout the weekend. There are not buses widely available but guests may organize sprinter vans + group cabs.
